Raks Postings
Submitted by Phil Weaver on Sat, 2008-07-19 22:33.What if people noticed nice things more often. What would happen if people really made notice of the nice things others do.
I've had this idea for awhile that I would post on this site anytime I see someone really going out of their way to do something good. So today, after witnessing something nice I am finally inspired enough to put my lazy fingers to the keyboard.

This weekend is the famous Valley Springs Pow Wow. It's an event where rock hounds come from all over the world to display their wares.
If you like rocks you'll love the Pow Wow.
As usual we'll be participating. We build a giant faux rock embedded with treasures. Then we let the kids pound away on it 'til they find the hidden treasures.

Website Milestone
Submitted by Phil Weaver on Wed, 2008-04-16 19:48.Our little Valley Springs just reached a milestone. If you were on last night you would have found only a white screen that said "bandwidth exceeded"
For a webmaster it's both a good and a bad thing. On the bad side it means you need more expensive hosting to handle the traffic. On the goodside it means you've got lots of traffic.
And what's a website without traffic?
If a website is created on the internet and noone sees it does it exist? I say no.
Sheng Chi Testing
Submitted by Phil Weaver on Tue, 2008-02-19 21:34.Congratulations to the large group of people who tested in the February test. It's great to see so many ready to test at one time. This is a strong sign of strength from the studio.
Obviously there isn't a more telltale sign than having such a great number test. In all there were 33 people ready for this last test. Far more than I can remember in a long time.
Those testing were:
Mr. Acosta - High Blue
Mr. Banning - Low Orange
Mr. Crum - High Orange
Mr. Davidson - Low Yellow
Mr. Dorland - High Blue
